ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is testing a special device called a powered knee-hip exoskeleton, designed to help people with neuromuscular disorders, which are conditions that affect muscle strength and movement. The goal is to see if this device is safe to use and how well it works to assist patients during activities, such as standing and walking. Researchers want to gather information that will help them make recommendations for safe use of the device and plan for future studies on its long-term benefits at home.
To participate in the trial, you need to be between 18 and 70 years old, weigh between 45 and 110 kg, and be able to stand up from a chair and walk without help for a short time. If you have a condition such as muscular dystrophy or other specific muscle disorders, you may qualify. Participants will have the chance to try the exoskeleton and share their experiences, which will help improve how it is used for people with similar conditions in the future. If you have certain health issues, such as severe heart problems or balance disorders, you might not be able to take part in this study.
