ClinConnect Summary
The AutoInflammatory Disease Alliance Registry (AIDA) is a clinical trial designed to gather important information about various rare autoinflammatory diseases, which are conditions that cause repeated episodes of inflammation without an infection. These diseases include hereditary periodic syndromes like Behçet's disease, Still's disease, and PFAPA syndrome, among others. The goal of this trial is to create a global registry that collects details about patients' demographics, genetics, symptoms, and treatments to improve our understanding and management of these conditions.
To participate in this study, individuals must have a confirmed diagnosis of a specific autoinflammatory disease, such as familial Mediterranean fever, Behçet's disease, or non-infectious uveitis, among others. The trial is open to people of all ages and genders, as long as they can provide consent. Participants can expect to contribute to a valuable resource that could help researchers find better treatments for these rare diseases. It’s important to note that participants need to provide informed consent to join the study.
