ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding chronic pain in people with hemophilia, a genetic condition that affects blood clotting. Although treatments exist to help manage bleeding episodes, many patients still experience long-lasting pain, particularly in their joints and muscles. The study aims to find out how common this pain is, what causes it, and how it affects people with hemophilia of all levels of severity. By gathering this information, the researchers hope to improve pain management strategies and raise awareness among doctors about how to treat pain in these patients.
To participate in the trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and have hemophilia or be a carrier with low factor levels. The study is open to all genders. Participants will complete a survey that asks about their pain experiences. If you are selected, you can expect to share your insights, which will contribute to a better understanding of chronic pain in hemophilia. It's important to note that individuals with certain cognitive disorders or those who have difficulty understanding French may not be eligible to participate.
