ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how well children with cochlear implants can hear and understand sounds. The researchers want to find ways to improve the way these devices work, helping kids hear better and gain a deeper understanding of how our hearing system functions. They will compare the experiences of children and adults with cochlear implants to those with normal hearing.
To participate in this study, individuals need to be at least 7 years old and have received their cochlear implant before age 2, or they can have normal hearing. Adults aged 18 and older who received their implants after learning to speak, or young adults aged 18-35 who were implanted before speaking, are also welcome. Participants can expect to take part in various assessments to help researchers gather important information about hearing performance. This study is currently looking for volunteers, and all genders are encouraged to join.
