ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new approach to therapy aimed at helping young children under 3 years old who are experiencing behavior problems or issues with parent-child relationships. The goal is to see if a personalized therapy plan, tailored specifically for each family, is more effective than a standard type of therapy called Psychodynamic Integrative Therapy. The researchers will check in on the children’s progress after 4 months to see if their symptoms have improved.
Families who may be eligible to participate must have a child under 3 who is showing behavioral issues and is seeking help. However, families cannot join if the parents have serious untreated mental health problems, if they struggle with speaking French, if the child has autism, or if they are already receiving other care for these issues. Participants can expect to engage in therapy sessions that focus on their specific needs, helping both the child and the parents improve their relationship and the child's behavior. This trial is currently looking for families to take part, and it offers a chance to access support that could make a positive difference in their lives.
