ClinConnect Summary
The Middle East Coronary Artery Ectasia Registry is a research study taking place in Jordan and the Middle East. This study aims to collect detailed information about patients with a condition called coronary artery ectasia, which involves the abnormal widening of blood vessels in the heart. The research will be conducted by doctors who specialize in treating patients with this condition, and they will gather data from both public and private healthcare providers.
If you or a loved one is between the ages of 65 and 74 and has been referred for a heart imaging test called coronary angiography due to suspected coronary artery disease, you may be eligible to participate in this study. Participants will need to sign a consent form, and those under 18 years old or currently involved in another similar study will not be able to join. By participating, you can help researchers better understand coronary artery ectasia, which may improve future diagnosis and treatment options for others with this condition.
