ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a treatment called focal vibration therapy for people with a shoulder condition known as adhesive capsulitis, or frozen shoulder. The researchers believe that this therapy may help reduce pain, improve movement in the shoulder joint, and enhance overall function for patients experiencing this condition. The trial is currently looking for participants aged 18 and older who have had shoulder pain for more than three months and have significant limitations in moving their shoulder in specific directions.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must have adhesive capsulitis in one shoulder and show that their shoulder movement is more than 50% limited in at least three key movements (like lifting the arm or rotating it). However, people with certain conditions, such as previous shoulder surgeries, severe muscle tears, or other serious health issues like cancer or diabetes, won't be able to join. If you qualify and decide to participate, you can expect to receive the focal vibration therapy and be monitored for its effects on your pain and shoulder movement. This trial aims to provide valuable insights into a potentially helpful treatment for people suffering from this painful condition.
