ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a group of conditions known as Chronic Dysimmune Neuropathies (CDN), which includes a variety of inflammatory diseases that affect the nerves, causing symptoms like weakness and numbness. Specifically, the trial aims to gain a better understanding of how these conditions progress over time and how they respond to treatment. These conditions can be difficult to diagnose, and many patients experience ongoing challenges as a result.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults over the age of 18 who have experienced sensory or motor issues (like feeling less in their arms or legs) that have gradually worsened for more than two months. However, individuals with certain other health conditions, such as diabetes or chronic kidney disease, as well as those with a family history of similar nerve issues, are not eligible to participate. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but once it begins, those who take part can expect to help researchers learn more about these complex nerve disorders, potentially benefiting future patients.
