ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying new ways to help people with voice disorders, particularly teachers who often experience voice problems. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many health services have moved online, and this study is looking at using a mobile app and online platform to provide voice therapy that can be accessed anytime. The aim is to create a flexible system that allows teachers to practice their voice therapy daily and get feedback on their progress. The researchers will test different therapy approaches to see which one is most effective in helping teachers improve their voice health.
To participate in this trial, you must be either a student teacher who is preparing to teach soon or a professional teacher with voice issues but who hasn't sought treatment yet. You also need to own a smartphone or tablet. If you join, you can expect to receive voice therapy through an online program that fits into your schedule, and you'll help researchers learn more about how to effectively support others with similar voice challenges. This study is important because it could lead to better voice therapy options for teachers and potentially help develop new tools for speech and language support in the future.
