ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how fine motor skills, like using your hands, may be connected to improving swallowing ability in patients who have had a stroke. After a stroke, many people experience swallowing difficulties, known as dysphagia, which can seriously affect their quality of life and overall health. The researchers believe that by focusing on both hand and mouth movements during rehabilitation, they can help patients recover from these swallowing issues more effectively.
To participate in this trial, you need to be over 70 years old, have had a stroke within the last 20 days, and be experiencing swallowing problems. It’s important that participants can understand instructions and be active in their rehabilitation. If you join the study, you will take part in specialized therapy sessions that aim to improve your swallowing skills. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and your involvement could contribute to valuable insights into helping others recover after a stroke.
