ClinConnect Summary
The SINCERE trial is studying a program designed to help people affected by COVID-19, especially those who may face challenges due to their social or economic situations. The main goal is to see if screening for social needs, connecting people to community services, and providing follow-up support over the phone can help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and improve overall health for vulnerable populations. This study is looking for adults aged 18 and older who speak English or Spanish and have used specific health services related to COVID-19. Participants should be willing to receive help with community services and can be contacted by phone or through text and email.
If you join the trial, you can expect to receive support that addresses both your health needs and any social needs you may have, such as help with food, housing, or healthcare services. The study will involve a screening process to understand your needs better and will provide referrals to local services that can help. Importantly, the trial aims to find out how well this approach works in helping people access the resources they need, which can make a significant difference in their health and well-being during and after the pandemic.
