ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is investigating whether a new, high-resolution MRI technique can better detect small brain lesions caused by strokes. The researchers believe that this advanced imaging method, which can show details more clearly than standard MRI scans, might help identify tiny areas of damage in the brain that could be missed with traditional methods. This is particularly important for patients experiencing symptoms of a stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA), as finding these small lesions can significantly impact treatment decisions.
To participate in the trial, you must be at least 18 years old, speak French, and have undergone a 3T brain MRI for suspected stroke or TIA within the last week. The MRI must include the new high-resolution diffusion sequence that the study aims to evaluate. Participants will have the opportunity to help improve stroke diagnosis and treatment by contributing to this important research. However, individuals under legal guardianship or those who do not wish to allow their data to be used will not be eligible.
