ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new exercise program designed to help older adults with mild cognitive impairment or dementia improve their thinking and movement skills from the comfort of their own homes. As people age, they often experience difficulties with memory and balance, which can increase their risk of falling and reduce their independence. The program uses fun, game-based exercises that can be guided by health professionals through video calls, making it easier for participants to stay active without needing to visit a rehabilitation center.
To be eligible for this trial, participants need to be adults living independently (with a caregiver or support person), able to walk at least 30 feet, and have a diagnosis of dementia or cognitive impairment. However, those who are unable to move safely or have severe cognitive challenges won't be able to join. Participants will engage in exercises that aim to enhance their balance and cognitive abilities while receiving support remotely. This trial is currently recruiting, and it represents an exciting opportunity to help improve the quality of life for individuals facing cognitive challenges.
