ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new, less invasive way to help patients who have experienced bone loss in the area around their upper back teeth, specifically near the maxillary sinus. The goal is to make it easier to prepare this area for dental implants by gently lifting the sinus membrane and allowing for bone regeneration without causing much discomfort or complications. This approach aims to improve healing and reduce recovery time for patients.
To participate in the study, you need to be over 18 years old and have specific dental conditions, such as having a tooth in the upper back that cannot be restored and not enough bone height to support a dental implant. The trial is currently looking for volunteers of all genders aged 65 to 74 who meet these criteria. If you join the study, you can expect to receive care and follow-up during the process, helping researchers learn more about this innovative technique. However, individuals with certain health issues or who are pregnant cannot participate in this trial.
