ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective a new technology called computer-aided detection (CADe) is during colonoscopy compared to the standard method. Colonoscopy is a procedure doctors use to look for and remove growths in the colon that could lead to colorectal cancer. This study aims to see if using CADe can help find more of these growths—called adenomas—than the traditional colonoscopy alone, which is important because finding and removing them can prevent cancer.

To participate in the trial, individuals must be scheduled for a colonoscopy to check for colorectal cancer or to monitor after a previous procedure. Eligible participants must also provide consent and agree that any findings will be treated right away. However, certain people, such as those with specific medical conditions or previous surgeries, are not eligible to join. If you choose to participate, you'll be part of a study that could help improve how colonoscopies are performed and potentially increase the number of adenomas found, making the procedure even more effective in preventing cancer.
