This clinical trial, called Y-AMBIENT, is focused on helping young African American women who are dealing with stage I-III breast cancer. The goal is to improve their quality of life through a special program that lasts for four months. Participants will take part in educational sessions over the phone, receive helpful written materials, and watch videos that provide support and information on managing daily life while undergoing cancer treatment.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be women aged 18 to 44 who identify as African American and are currently receiving treatment for breast cancer. They also need to speak English and have access to a phone and the internet. This trial is a great opportunity for young women facing breast cancer to gain valuable resources and support to help them through their treatment journey.

Eligibility criteria
- Inclusion Criteria:
- • Biologically born women
- • Self-identify as AA
- • Are aged 18 to 44 years on study entry
- • Are diagnosed with breast cancer stage I-III
- • Are in treatment with chemotherapy and/or radiation for stage I-III breast cancer at study entry
- • Are English- speaking
- • Have telephone and internet access
- Exclusion Criteria:
- • Participation in formal survivorship navigation programs because they are associated with improved health- related outcomes, which could be a confounder
