ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how to help people who have been caught driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol better understand the risks of drinking and driving. Researchers want to see if special training that involves real-life experiences can help these drivers recognize the dangers associated with alcohol use more effectively. The study is currently recruiting participants who are female, between the ages of 18 and 90, and have held a valid driver’s license for at least five years. They should also drive regularly, at least once a week.
If someone qualifies and joins the study, they can expect to take part in training designed to enhance their awareness of the risks linked to alcohol consumption while driving. It’s important to note that individuals with certain health issues, pregnant or breastfeeding women, or those with a history of substance use disorders (except for nicotine or caffeine) cannot participate. This trial is aimed at making our roads safer by helping DUI offenders understand the serious consequences of their actions.
