ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how effective progressive muscle relaxation exercises are in helping patients manage pain and disability after having spinal surgery, particularly for conditions like spinal stenosis. The goal is to see if these relaxation exercises can improve recovery and overall well-being for patients who have had surgeries such as discectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion, or foraminotomy.
To be eligible for the study, participants must be 18 years or older and have recently undergone one of the mentioned spinal surgeries. It's important that they do not have any serious health issues that could make it hard for them to learn or perform the relaxation exercises. Participants will be asked to practice these exercises and will be monitored to see how they help with pain and daily activities. This study is currently recruiting, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria and is interested in participating, it could be a great opportunity to contribute to understanding how relaxation techniques can aid recovery after spinal surgery.
