ClinConnect Summary
The Westlake Longevity Cohort study, also known as We-Longevity, is looking at what helps people live longer, healthier lives. This study focuses on older adults, including those aged 50 and above, living in Lishui, China. Researchers want to learn about the biological markers of healthy aging and how diet and lifestyle choices influence these markers. By gathering this information, they hope to create personalized recommendations for nutrition and lifestyle that can benefit the wider community.
To participate, you need to be at least 50 years old and plan to stay in Lishui for at least three years. However, individuals with serious health issues, like cancer or major infections, are not eligible. If you join the study, you will help researchers better understand healthy aging while also contributing to advice that could help others live better, longer lives.
