ClinConnect Summary
The TYRO Champion Dads Project Study is a research trial designed to see if adding extra training on preventing domestic violence can help fathers improve their parenting skills and family relationships. In this study, fathers will receive standard support services, but some will also participate in an additional program called Ray of Hope, which focuses on reducing the risks of domestic violence. This trial is currently looking for fathers aged 18 and older who have children no older than 24 years and do not have any ongoing criminal cases.
If you decide to participate, you can expect to join a supportive group where you will learn valuable skills to help you as a father and improve your family life. It's a chance to receive extra help while also being part of a study that aims to make a positive impact on fathers and their families. Remember, this study is specifically for fathers, so if you meet the age and child criteria, and don’t have any open legal issues, you might be eligible to join!
