ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different treatments to see which one is better at preventing the formation of intrauterine adhesions, which are scar tissues that can develop inside the uterus after a procedure called operative hysteroscopy. The trial is comparing the use of a heparin solution, a blood-thinning medication, to a gel made from hyaluronic acid, which is a substance that helps protect tissues.
The trial is currently looking for women aged between 18 and 62 who have specific reasons for needing an operative hysteroscopy, such as infertility, irregular bleeding, or certain types of fibroids. If you join the study, you will receive one of the two treatments after your procedure, and researchers will monitor you to see how well it works at preventing adhesions. It's important to know that women who are pregnant, have cancers in the genital area, or certain other health conditions are not eligible to participate.
