ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the potential effects of a proposed ban on menthol cigarettes by looking at how menthol-flavored e-cigarettes may help people who currently smoke menthol cigarettes. The goal is to understand if having access to menthol e-cigarettes can help these smokers reduce their cigarette use or switch to e-cigarettes instead. This research is important because it can provide insights into how such a ban might impact smokers' behavior and health.
To participate in this study, you need to be at least 21 years old, currently smoke cigarettes, and be willing to try e-cigarettes. You should also be in good health and able to understand English. If you join, you'll be asked to provide your consent and follow the study guidelines. However, if you're looking for help to quit smoking or have serious health issues, this study may not be suitable for you. Being part of this trial could help researchers understand better ways to support menthol smokers in reducing their tobacco use.
