ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on improving abdominal surgery by developing and testing new assistance technologies that can help surgeons during operations. The researchers want to see if these technologies can be effectively demonstrated and visualized while surgery is happening, specifically in types of surgeries that use special cameras, robotic systems, or imaging techniques. The goal is to gather early information about how these new tools might improve patient outcomes.
To participate in this study, patients need to be between the ages of 65 and 74 and must have a medical reason for needing surgery that involves laparoscopic or robotic systems. It's also important that participants can understand and communicate in German. Those who join the trial can expect to be part of a process that could lead to better surgical assistance tools, ultimately benefiting future patients. It’s important to note that anyone who cannot give consent will not be eligible for this trial.
