ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding the quality of life for patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). NETs are rare types of tumors that need special attention and treatment. To provide better care for these patients, a group of hospitals has come together to form a network called NETwerk. This study aims to gather information on how patients feel throughout their diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care by asking them to fill out questionnaires about their health and satisfaction with the care they receive. Patients will complete these questionnaires every six months for five years to help improve the overall care for those with NETs.
To participate in this study, individuals must be at least 18 years old, diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor, and registered in a specific patient database called Oncobase. Unfortunately, patients without an email address cannot join the trial. If eligible, participants can expect to share their experiences and feelings about their health regularly, which will contribute to enhancing the quality of care for future NET patients.
