ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a special rehabilitation program can help patients with Persistent Spinal Pain Syndrome Type II (PSPS-T2) return to work after they have received spinal cord stimulation (SCS). Researchers want to see if this personalized program, designed to support getting back to work, is more effective than the usual care patients typically receive. The study is currently recruiting participants, and it welcomes individuals aged 65 to 74 who are Dutch-speaking and have been dealing with chronic pain from PSPS-T2 for at least six months.
To be eligible for the trial, participants must have a pain level of at least 4 out of 10 that hasn’t improved with standard treatments. However, those with other chronic pain conditions or who are pregnant cannot take part in the study. If you choose to participate, you can expect to attend study visits and follow a set plan to help evaluate the effectiveness of the rehabilitation program. This trial aims to provide valuable insights that could improve the lives of many patients suffering from persistent spinal pain.
