ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new tool that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors make better decisions during the preoperative assessment for patients who are about to undergo non-cardiac surgery. The goal is to see if this AI-supported application can improve how risks are evaluated compared to the current standard methods. A total of 480 participants, who are patients classified as ASA Class III or IV (meaning they have serious health conditions), will be randomly assigned to either use the new AI tool or continue with the usual preoperative assessment process.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be between the ages of 65 and 74 and have an ASA Class III or IV status. There are no exclusions based on other health conditions. If you decide to participate, you will either be assessed using the new AI tool or the standard assessment, and your experience will help researchers understand which method is better for ensuring patient safety and care before surgery. This study is currently looking for volunteers to join.
