ClinConnect Summary

The Mobile WACh Empower trial is looking to find out if sending text messages can help improve reproductive health for women living with HIV in Kenya. The study will provide women with information and counseling about reproductive health through their mobile phones while they receive regular HIV care. This approach aims to help women make informed choices about contraception and fertility, ultimately leading to better health outcomes.

To take part in this study, women need to be between 14 and 45 years old, living with HIV, and currently receiving HIV care at the study site. They should also have regular access to a mobile phone and be able to read or understand messages in English, Kiswahili, or Luo. Participants can expect to receive helpful information through text messages over the course of the study, which will last for about two years. It's important to note that women who are currently pregnant will not be eligible for this trial.
