ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at children with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot, which involves several heart defects. The goal is to use a special imaging technique called multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) to find out how common different heart and blood vessel problems are in these patients. Researchers want to understand the types of abnormalities that might be present, which can help doctors provide better care before surgery.
To participate in this study, children under 18 with Tetralogy of Fallot may be eligible, but those who have certain conditions, such as unstable health or kidney problems, cannot join. Participants will undergo MDCT scans and another imaging test called transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE) before their surgery, and the study will keep track of any heart and blood vessel issues found. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so families interested in learning more should keep an eye out for updates.
