ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the ECOFRAIL Protocol, is looking at how a physical exercise program can help older adults who are experiencing frailty. Frailty is a condition where elderly individuals may not show major changes in their daily abilities, but they do have a slight decline in their overall strength and health, which can lead to further problems over time. The study is being conducted at various centers in Spain and aims to see if exercise can improve muscle quality and overall well-being in older participants.
To be eligible for this trial, you must be at least 70 years old and able to give your consent to participate. You should also be capable of completing some basic physical tests. However, if you have serious health issues that limit your ability to follow the study, have significant cognitive difficulties, or are already involved in a regular exercise program, you won't be able to join. Participants can expect to take part in an exercise program specifically designed for their needs, and the study will monitor their progress to see how effective the program is in improving their health.
