ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a condition called atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT), which is a type of fast heartbeat that occurs due to issues in the heart's electrical system. Researchers want to see how well a special mapping technology can pinpoint the exact location of important structures in the heart that contribute to this condition. They will compare data from patients with AVNRT who need treatment with data from other patients who don’t have this condition but are undergoing a different heart procedure.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 65 and 74 years old, have a healthy heart, and either have AVNRT or be a control participant undergoing a different heart procedure. If you join, you will undergo detailed mapping of your heart using advanced technology, which helps doctors visualize the areas they are treating. It’s important to know that people with certain heart diseases or previous heart procedures cannot participate. Overall, this study aims to improve how doctors treat heart rhythm problems by better understanding the heart's electrical pathways.
