ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effectiveness of combining two medications, Duloxetine and Tramadol, to help manage chronic pain caused by cancer. Chronic cancer pain can be very challenging to treat, especially with standard pain medications, which often come with unpleasant side effects. Tramadol is a pain reliever that works differently than traditional opioids, and Duloxetine is usually used as an antidepressant but also helps with certain types of pain, especially nerve pain. By using both medications together, the trial aims to see if this combination provides better pain relief for patients.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be between the ages of 20 and 70 and have cancer-related pain without currently taking any pain medications. If you join the trial, you’ll receive these medications and be monitored by healthcare professionals to assess how well they work for your pain. It's important to know that this study is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know is dealing with cancer pain, this might be an opportunity to explore new treatment options.
