ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of a specific exercise program on people with Shoulder Impingement Syndrome, a condition where shoulder movement is painful due to pressure on the shoulder joint. In this trial, 40 participants aged between 25 and 45 will be randomly divided into two groups. One group will do a special exercise called "closed-chain shoulder girdle scapular depression exercise" along with other stretching and strengthening exercises. The other group will perform a different exercise called "shoulder girdle depression against manual resistance." Both groups will participate in their exercise programs three times a week for five weeks.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be diagnosed with stage I or II shoulder impingement by an orthopedic surgeon and must pass specific tests that confirm their condition. However, those with certain health issues, like heart disease or severe shoulder problems, cannot participate. This study aims to see which exercise method is more effective in helping patients relieve their shoulder pain and improve their movement. If you or someone you know is interested and fits the criteria, this could be a great opportunity to get involved in research that may help others with similar shoulder issues.
