ClinConnect Summary
The Diabetes Registry Graz for Biomarker Research is a study designed to better understand diabetes and related conditions, such as obesity and lipid disorders. Researchers are looking to collect important information, blood, and urine samples from people with different types of diabetes, including type 1, type 2, and rarer forms, over several years. This information will help scientists find new ways to improve treatment and management of these conditions.
To join this study, participants need to be between 18 and 99 years old and must agree to take part by signing a consent form. They should have one of the following conditions: type 1 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, specific rare types of diabetes, obesity (defined as a body mass index over 30), or issues with fat metabolism. If you decide to participate, you can expect to provide data and samples once a year. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to important research that may help others in the future!
