ClinConnect Summary
The Vienna HIV Infection Via Sex Study is looking to understand more about HIV infections among people who are at high risk of getting the virus through sexual activities. This study will gather information about how often new HIV infections occur and what factors might contribute to these infections. It is currently recruiting participants aged 18 to 100, including all genders, particularly focusing on men who have sex with men and transgender individuals who may not use condoms consistently or have had recent sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
To be eligible, participants need to be HIV-negative and meet specific risk criteria, such as having inconsistent condom use with casual partners or recently engaging in high-risk sexual behavior. If you decide to participate, you'll need to provide written consent and will be part of a study that aims to improve understanding of HIV transmission. Your involvement could help shape future prevention strategies for those at risk.
