ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying two different treatments for people who have been poisoned by aluminum phosphide (AlP), a pesticide that can be very dangerous and has a high chance of causing serious health problems or death. The trial is comparing two methods: Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), which helps filter and clean the blood gently over time, and Plasmapheresis (PPH), a faster method that can quickly remove toxins from the blood. The goal is to see which treatment works better for patients who are critically ill from AlP poisoning.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults over 18 years old who are suffering from severe symptoms of AlP poisoning, such as very low blood pressure or severe acidity in the blood. Unfortunately, those under 18 or who do not agree to join the study will not be included. If someone takes part in this trial, they can expect to receive one of the two treatments while being closely monitored by healthcare professionals. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it's an important step towards finding better ways to treat this life-threatening condition.
