ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different treatment methods for children with inflamed pulp in their primary molars, a condition known as irreversible pulpitis. The trial compares three approaches: one where the dentist cleans the tooth and applies a special paste to help heal the remaining tissue; another where only part of the pulp is removed, and the base is covered with antibiotic paste; and a standard treatment called pulpectomy, which involves removing all the pulp and filling the space with a special material.
To participate, children must be between 4 to 10 years old and have specific types of dental issues, like deep cavities in their second primary molars that can still be treated. They should not have any known allergies to the materials used in the study or certain health conditions that could complicate treatment. Participants can expect to receive dental care tailored to their assigned group, with careful follow-up to monitor their recovery. This trial is currently recruiting, and it's an opportunity to explore new ways to treat dental pulp issues in young patients.
