ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how sexual health education and counseling can help women in the postpartum period improve their sexual lives. The program is designed based on a specific model called the Ex-PLISSIT model, which aims to address various aspects of sexuality, including sexual function and emotional well-being. The goal is to see if this support can reduce any distress related to sexual activity and enhance the overall quality of sexual life for new mothers.
To participate in this study, women need to meet certain criteria. Eligible participants should be first-time mothers who have recently given birth (between 10 weeks and 6 months ago) without any complications and should be sexually active. They should also have a partner and access to a smartphone or computer to engage in the program. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you or someone you know fits these criteria, it could be a great opportunity to receive valuable support during this important time. Participants can expect to receive helpful education and counseling aimed at improving their sexual health and overall well-being.
