ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective a combination of telehealth and in-person physical therapy is for children with moderate to severe disabilities compared to just in-person therapy alone. Telehealth allows children to participate in therapy sessions from home using technology, which can make it easier for families to access care. The goal is to see if this hybrid approach helps improve the everyday skills of children aged 2 to 17.
To be eligible for this study, children need to have a moderate to significant disability and their families must have the necessary technology for telehealth visits. It’s important that the child’s insurance covers these types of visits. Participants can expect to take part in both in-person and telehealth sessions, and the study is currently looking for more families to join. This research could help improve how physical therapy is delivered to children in the future!
