ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to develop a new tool called the CC-QoL, which will help measure the quality of life for children in China who suffer from chronic cough. Currently, there isn't a specific tool for children, and doctors often use scales meant for adults, which may not accurately reflect how coughing affects kids. The researchers want to see if this new Chinese version of the CC-QoL is reliable and valid for assessing children's experiences with chronic cough.
To participate in this study, children aged 7 to 14 who have been coughing for more than four weeks and have coughing as their main symptom may be eligible. Participants will complete questionnaires and may be followed up over time to help the researchers understand the effectiveness of this new tool. This study is important because it aims to ensure that children with chronic cough in China can have their quality of life accurately assessed, leading to better care and treatment options for them.
