ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on understanding systemic autoinflammatory diseases (SAIDs), which are rare conditions that cause inflammation in the body. Researchers aim to identify new genes and specific patterns in patients with these diseases, which can help in better diagnosing and treating them. The trial is currently recruiting participants of all ages, from children as young as 7 to adults, and it welcomes individuals of any gender.
To be eligible for this study, participants must have symptoms of inflammation that occur without an infection. This could include fever that comes and goes, stomach pain or diarrhea, joint or muscle aches, chest pain, skin problems, vision or hearing issues, or kidney problems. However, adults who have legal guardianship or protective measures in place are not eligible to participate. Those who join the trial can expect to undergo tests and assessments that will help researchers learn more about SAIDs and potentially improve care for future patients.
