ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking at how a specific procedure called radial artery intervention, which is used to treat heart conditions, may affect the nerves in the hand. The researchers want to find out if this treatment can lead to nerve damage or conditions like carpal tunnel syndrome, which can cause pain and numbness in the hands.

If you're between the ages of 65 and 74 and can provide informed consent, you might be eligible to participate. This means you understand what the study involves and agree to take part. However, pregnant individuals or those who do not pass a certain test (the Barbeau test) will not be included in the study. If you join, you can expect to have regular check-ups to monitor your hand's nerve health after the procedure. This trial is currently recruiting participants, so if you're interested, it could be a great opportunity to contribute to important research that may benefit others in the future.
