ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called the Family Talk Intervention (FTI), is looking at a new way to support families who are dealing with the serious illness of a parent. The goal is to help families with dependent children, aged 0-19 years, who are facing life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses. The study will not only assess how effective the Family Talk Intervention is in helping these families but will also look at how well it can be put into practice in home care settings.
To be eligible for this study, families must have at least one parent with a serious illness and at least two family members willing to participate. Participants will engage in conversations and activities designed to improve communication and emotional support within the family during this challenging time. It's important to note that this trial is currently recruiting participants, and all families who meet the criteria are welcome to join. This could be a valuable opportunity for families seeking additional support while navigating their loved one's illness.
