ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new smartphone app that analyzes your voice to help detect signs of anxiety and depression in people who are recovering from a heart attack. The goal is to see if using this app alongside standard cardiac rehabilitation can lead to better health outcomes than rehabilitation alone.
To participate, you need to be between the ages of 65 and 74, be enrolled in a cardiac rehabilitation program within three months after leaving the hospital, and have a smartphone that can run the app. You should also be comfortable reading, writing, and speaking English. However, if you are currently receiving treatment for anxiety or depression, or have certain health issues like a heart transplant or active substance use, you may not be eligible. If you join, you'll use the app to help track your mental health while you go through your rehabilitation program. This could be a helpful way to support your recovery!
