ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how a specific procedure called stellate ganglion block (SGB) affects the heart's electrical system in patients who experience a condition known as ventricular tachycardia (VT). VT is a fast and potentially dangerous heartbeat that can lead to serious health issues. The researchers want to understand both the electrical and chemical changes that happen in the heart when patients undergo SGB, which is a treatment that targets nerves in the neck to help regulate heart function.
To participate in this trial, individuals need to be at least 18 years old and have plans for a catheter-based procedure to treat their VT. However, pregnant individuals, those with certain health conditions, or those who are allergic to specific local anesthetics cannot join. If you choose to participate, you will be closely monitored during the study to track how your heart responds to the SGB procedure. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it aims to provide valuable insights into better ways to treat VT and improve heart health.
