ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called TIAGO, is looking at a new tool called Mediktor® that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to help doctors decide how urgent a patient's condition is when they arrive at the emergency department (ED). Triage is the process of sorting patients based on how quickly they need care, but it can be difficult for healthcare providers due to time pressure and the variety of medical conditions. The goal of this trial is to see if the AI tool can improve the accuracy of triage compared to the current system and the judgment of doctors.
To participate in this trial, you need to be at least 18 years old and able to understand and agree to the study procedures. Unfortunately, if you are under 18 or have the most critical emergency level (level 1), you won't be eligible. If you join the study, you will have your condition assessed using the new AI tool, and researchers will compare the results with the traditional triage method and the doctor's diagnosis. This is important because better triage could help ensure that patients with serious conditions receive timely treatment.
