ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on creating a registry for patients who have experienced a stroke. A registry is a tool that helps researchers collect important information about patients, such as their age, medical history, and how well they are recovering. This information is crucial for understanding strokes better, planning healthcare services, and developing new treatments. The study aims to gather data specifically from patients who have had either an ischemic stroke (caused by a blockage of blood flow) or a hemorrhagic stroke (caused by bleeding in the brain), as long as their stroke occurred within the last six months.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must be adults over 18 years old who have had their first stroke or a relapse. They need to provide informed consent, meaning they agree to participate after understanding the study's purpose. However, patients with severe brain injuries or life-threatening conditions cannot participate. If eligible, participants can expect to share their medical information and possibly contribute to important research that may lead to better treatments and care for future stroke patients.
