ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking to understand how corticosteroid treatment affects emotions in patients with certain conditions. Specifically, it will track the emotional changes in six patients with mycosis fungoides or Sezary syndrome (types of skin cancer) and six patients with chronic cluster headaches while they receive corticosteroid therapy. By using a smartphone app, participants will answer a short daily survey about their feelings. The goal is to analyze these emotional responses over time to better understand how corticosteroids influence mood and to help doctors provide better support for their patients.
To be eligible for this study, you need to be diagnosed with either mycosis fungoides, Sezary syndrome, or have chronic cluster headaches, and you must be receiving corticosteroid treatment. There are no additional risks from participating, as the main requirement is completing a brief survey each day during treatment. The insights gained from this study could lead to improved ways to address emotional challenges faced by patients on corticosteroids.
