ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, titled "Making INformed Decisions in Gaze and Postural Stability," is exploring a new way to help older adults who experience dizziness and balance issues due to a condition called vestibular hypofunction, which is often related to aging. The researchers want to test a new system designed to improve balance and reduce dizziness, ensuring that it is safe and acceptable for use in everyday life before moving on to larger studies.
To participate in this study, individuals should be aged 18 or older, able to stand on their own, and report difficulties with dizziness or balance. However, those with specific medical conditions, such as certain neck problems or vision issues, won't be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to engage with this new intervention system and provide feedback on how it works for you. The goal is to gather valuable information that could lead to better treatments for balance problems in older adults.
