ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new treatment approach for stroke patients who experience shoulder pain after their stroke. Specifically, it looks at how combining a special shoulder injection with a technique called Kinesiotaping can help reduce pain, improve movement of the arm, and enhance the overall quality of life for these patients. The goal is to find out if this combination is more effective than other treatments.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be adults aged between 20 and 80 who have had a stroke within the last six months and are experiencing shoulder pain. They should be able to move their hand slightly. However, those with a history of certain shoulder problems or other serious conditions will not be able to join. If you participate, you can expect to receive the treatment as well as regular assessments to see how well it’s working. This study is currently recruiting participants, and it could be an important step in finding better pain relief for stroke survivors.
