ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the nutritional and metabolic health of vegetarian and omnivorous adults in Portugal. Researchers want to understand how different diets, like vegetarian and vegan, affect overall health compared to those who eat meat. They will look at various health markers, such as blood pressure, blood sugar levels, and vitamin and mineral intake, by collecting blood and urine samples from 400 healthy adults aged 18 to 65. Participants will also fill out questionnaires about their eating habits and lifestyle.

To join the study, you need to be a healthy adult between 18 and 65 years old and have followed your diet for at least a year. The trial is currently recruiting participants, and it provides a unique chance to learn more about how different diets can support health and help create sustainable eating practices in Portugal. If you qualify and choose to participate, you will contribute valuable information that could benefit many people’s diets and health in the future.
